ABOUT ME

I originally trained in fine art, completing a BA at UWE, before taking on an apprenticeship in upholstery. That led to several years jointly running a successful domestic and commercial upholstery & drapery company. Visiting clients’ homes and businesses during that time gave me a real understanding of individual style, how people use their spaces, and the joy of creating interiors that truly reflect their personalities.

Alongside my work in interiors, I discovered my true passion: ceramics. For many years, I trained alongside my other projects. I fell in love with the way clay allows you to get lost in the material, to be led by it, and to create objects that are both functional and beautiful. It’s a process that combines focus, creativity, and a little bit of surprise every time. 

I now work mainly in clay, and running my afterschool club. Sharing the joy of making with children is a real highlight. I love watching their creativity and confidence blossom as they explore clay and design their own creations.
